The current Ballet of the Teatro alla Scala boasts a glorious past whose roots go back to the centuries before the eighteenth-century inauguration, in 1778, of the most famous musical theater in the world, which is still home to it. Students also receive daily enrichment classes that include variations, stretch, conditioning, jazz, modern, eurythmics and mime. In addition to the rigorous dance schedule, participants are also offered masterclass lectures and workshops from professional guest-faculty along with a number of peer relationship building activities. Students can choose to participate in either a single 2-week session or the full 4-week experience.
